about

“As a fan of all things dark and slightly weird, I knew I could have fun with Pollock's piece 'Black Flowing'. I could make out demonic faces from the pouring patterns and interpreted the black lines as something venomous spreading through our veins. This inspired me to write about our own inner demons, in particular the topic of addiction which affects many. Through the lyrical content I tried to personify addiction as a demon who possesses our whole being. Paired with a sinister production, my aim was
to make this song as haunting as possible to communicate the darkness of Pollock's
artwork”.
