“Picking which piece to base the music on was really hard. I wanted to try and make the music almost stand up as a motion towards Pollock’s creation, so was against the idea of making the track short. The idea is how long it would have taken to make the art itself. And I guess I got carried away, but I didn't imagine it would have taken a short amount of time to make “Yellow Island”, so the track is supposed to be a journey into the creation of that particular piece. It's not the easiest listen in the world and isn’t designed to be seen as a song. It’s music designed to re image the creation of the art, which in itself is open to the viewers discretion depending on the way you see it”.
